Mad, crazy daft internet, yeah!

Littel THings I hate

Some things I like about this Website:

1. The blog is called 1000 Tiny Things I hate, as you can see from this picture which I hope Jon Brown doesn’t mind me pinching.

2. It’s by Jon Brown, as you may or may not be able to make out from the picture which I hope Jon Brown doesn’t mind me pinching.

3. Its here: http://tinythingsihate.blogspot.com/

4. It’s really funny.

Oh! 5. I found it via B3ta.com.

Here is Bohemian Rhapsody performed by one man. It is the best ever cover version of Bohemian Rhapsody that I have ever seen. The man’s name is Richie Castellano, and if this video doesn’t go viral then my name isn’t King Cock.

You might think ‘Should I bother watching this?’, and the answer is ‘Yes, it is 6 and a half minutes of your life well spent.’

Enjoy, and if I’m not back here before the end of 2011, Happy 2012 – Enjoy it while you can! Smile

Xmas No.1 2011 (UK)

Regular readers will be well aware of my (some would say uncanny) ability to predict the Xmas no.1. Here is this years. Many of you of course have asked the secret of my predictive skills, but that is a secret which I can never ever reveal, handed down as it was by my great grandmother. Oh ok then, I’ll tell you: What I do is put each of the contenders for the years most fiercely contested chart battle into a bag, and then I do a big shit into the bag. Whichever single has the most shit stuck on it is the winner. It has not failed me yet.

Dog Eating Dunkers

No! Not Dunkers that eat dogs! A dog called Bizzle eating Dunkers aided by the arms of a man who clearly owns too many DVDs. Or maybe its the man’s girlfriend who owns the DVDs, but I doubt it: Girls don’t display their DVDs like that, do they? She might not even be his girlfriend, but I think she probably is, as she’s laughing more than is strictly necessary. Come to think of it, she might not even be a girl, not that I would come to think of that.

Anyway, video: amusing.

Just stumbled upon this on Youtube. Its an extremely awesome clip of Ben Folds doing that Zak and Sara song with the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra. Turn it up loud, you’ll be pleased you did.

What is Benton?

THIS is Benton. Or maybe Fenton, people don’t seem too sure on that point. The main thing is it’s a dog chasing a load of deer in a Richmond park, and the dog’s owner chasing the dog, and it’ll make you laugh. Well, it did me anyway.

You may have heard me mention Goodie & Nick in the past – They’re a popular British cabaret act who I’ve done bits of writing for in the past. I should say ‘were’, actually, as they’re no longer working together, but the Nick half has written himself a new act which looks pretty impressive – Here are a few clips. I must say I’m glad to see the Shopping Song has been retained!

Check this out if you haven’t seen it before. Its a rather beautiful stop animation of a snail called Marcel who wears shoes. The character is voiced by a  very fragile sounding and empathy inducing Jennny Slate. Half of the script could have been taken from Viz Top Tips, but it hasn’t, and it doesn’t matter if the ideas aren’t 100% original; its still lovely.

Moonwalk Fail

Dick.

This is great, I think because it shows, visually, how complicated the track is. The video is a little clunky round the edges at times, but it doesn’t detract from the whole, which is fab! And this Fredde fella has a great voice, too. Enjoy!
