Utterly utterly brilliant song by Fagottron, who takes audio from movies and turns them into beautiful music which, for some reason I cannot put my finger on, has a real haunting melancholic quality. The video is aceness too.

In case you didn’t know, NSFW means not safe for work. In other words, don’t watch or listen to this at your work computer because it might cause you to get into trouble. Perhaps it contains swearing (like this clip), or maybe it features nudity.

The clip featured here, of legendary Dr Who and voice-over supremo Tom Baker, is NSFW because it contains him swearing and generally taking the piss out of the company he’s recording a voice-over for. Its very funny, and its also not suitable for kids.

I saw it over on the links board at B3TA, which I would wholeheartedly recommend you visit if you have a sense of humour and are not easily offended.

Obviously, nobody knows. But us humans being what we are, we all like to try and predict what it will be like in the future. In fact, some people make whole careers out of it. Sometimes our predictions are right, and sometimes they’re very very wrong.

This video features some predictions of future telecommunications by the Post Office Research Station, made in 1969. Its a funny watch because of the awful, stilted acting; but also great fun to see what they got right, and what they got wrong.

I wonder how it came to be called broadband? Wideband seems a better term imo.

Incidentally, I found a great sick joke about cancer on the internet - I’ve been telling it to all my friends and getting loads of hits.

Yes, Yes, Duffy’s version was ok, but in my humble opinion not anywhere near as good as the original by The Third Degree, recorded in 1968. Have a listen, its awesome, and the production is great too when you consider how old it is.

Very rare footage from HappyToast, showing how the infamous advert was made. It turns out the children’s eyebrows were controlled by the administration of small electrical pulses, as you can see in this very informative video. Enjoy!
