Regular readers will know that I am a fan of UK comedy double act Goodie & Nick. I read in their blog recently that Goodie had a small part in Casualty & Nick had a similar role in ‘Wire in the blood’ with Robson Green.
I didn’t know, however, that Nick had a hobby of writing songs - Nice one dude, I quite like this!

I reckon young Hero, singing in this video, is the reincarnation of John Lennon. What do you think?
Rock on, Hero, we love you!
I’m nearly 40, so this has a particular resonance with me. You may be not nearly 40 but if you’re in any way a fan of the original Star Wars movie you should find this funny. If you don’t find it funny then god help you, and god help us all.
Ha ha ha ha ha, very funny video which highlights the closing gap between organic and robotic lifeforms: It’s funny now, not so funny when in 10 years time they’re terminating our asses, heh heh.
Sweding is where you take something that you like, such as a movie, and remake it yourself using whatever comes to hand.
Above is a brilliant example (I especially like the x-wing fighter attack on the death star sequence)
The phrase “sweding” was invented by the writers of the upcoming film ‘Be Kind Rewind’ starring Jack Black & Mos Def, where a video store owner decides to remake classic films, after all of his tapes are wiped by magnetism, for the benefit of the store’s one regular customer. The length of time it takes for the movies to arrive is explained to the customer, a little old lady played by Mia Farrow, by the tapes having come from Sweden. Hence: When the 2 guys are making the films, they are ’sweding’ them.
Search on youtube for swede, you’ll find loads of great clips like the one above; and for more info on the film some google ads should have popped up over there on the left, heh heh.
update: Except they haven’t, heh heh
Just in case you didn’t know, lolcats are funny or cute pictures of cats with (usually) amusing or cute captions depicting what the cat is thinking.
Today’s video features some good ‘uns, so watch it you bastard.
Here’s one of his fine videos. Why don’t you mosey on over to YouTube and subscribe to the rest? Dead, dead cool, I love it.
No doubt about it.
