noreligion I do like a good conspiracy story, I think they communicate with a deep questioning part of our humanity, especially when it comes to politicians! You only need look at the sales of “The Da Vinci Code” to see how popular conspiracy stories are.

I’ve recently been looking at a lot of conspiracy websites, especially about 9/11 (that seems to be the most popular subject) and I have a great exercise for you:

First, watch this film:

It’s called “Loose Change 2nd Edition” and its a really rather well-made film which outlines some of the most popular conspiracy theories concerning the events of 9/11 in the USA. The Film-makers say

This film shows direct
connection between the attacks of September 11, 2001 and the United States government.
Evidence is derived from news footage, scientific fact, and most important, Americans
who suffered through that tragic day.”

After you’re done with that, have a look at this: http://www.loosechangeguide.com/LooseChangeGuide.html

Which is a review of the film by Mark Roberts, debunking, well, pretty much everything in the film. Its well worth a read, for sarcasm value alone.

Mark says:

“I put this document together for several reasons:
1. To promote understanding of the facts about the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and to discourage relying on rumor and conjecture when searching for the “truth.”
2. Because I believe that “Loose Change” is an influential introduction for many people to 9/11 conspiracy issues.
3. To encourage respect for the victims, living and dead, of the 9/11 attacks.”

This whole exercise will probably take around 3-4 hours, so set yourself aside some time and have a ‘conspiracy night in’.

If you haven’t got time right now, save this page into your favourites and come back to it.

And normal madcrazydaft service will be resumed tomorrow, when I’ll bring you a story about, oh I don’t know, curtain fetishists?!

jenkem1.jpg

Apparently, Law enforcement agencies in the US are becoming worried about a new drug known as ‘Jenkem’. Users inhale the fermented gas produced by faeces and urine and get high.

Whilst this has been reported in the past by the BBC as ocurring in Zambia, according to some sources the craze is now gaining a foothold amongst American teens. However, others say that this is a hoax - read all about it at Wikipedia.

Of interest to me though are the funny slang terms for this drug which include: Winnie, Shit, Runners, Fruit from crack pipe, Leroy Jenkems, Might, Butthash and Waste.

I’ve decided to get down with the kids and invent a few more slang terms to help them stay cool and avoid the fuzz. How about: ‘ass gas’, ‘coco pops’, ‘beige’, ‘cannapiss’.

Please email me with more.

This is a picture of Britney Spears, isn’t it good?

If you pop yourself along to planethiltron.com you can see lots more cool photoshopped celebrities like this, so why don’t you get popping?

Brilliant re-dubbing of the winner of Britain’s Got Talent. Got loads of hits on YouTube, and deservedly so!

These little engineering blighters are amazing! When I was a kid we used to hang underneath railway bridges as the trains went over for a thrill. That simply isnt good enough for the youth of today!

oh, just watch it.

Hi there, Internutters
My apologies for not bringing you more crazy, daft & mad websites lately, but ive been busy doing normal work (you know, the kind that pays cash)and also looking at several new ways of making this site more ‘web 2.0′, heh heh.
I will try my hardest to bring you more stupid websites very soon.
In the meantime, why not amuse yourselves by having a look at this mental idiot:
Ashley De La Zouch

Its better organised & I hope you’ll like it better than the old version.

You can now comment on individual stories (very web 2.0!). Plus when you have commented on 10 stories you’ll be able to submit stories yourself. Or Something. I haven’t figured it all out yet.

As you’ll see, its still being built, but welcome anyway. Enjoy!

p.s. If you want to comment, click on the title of the story - You have to join first though: To do that click on ‘register’ over there on the right under “Meta”.

Cheers

Here is an online journal written by a man who’s on the run from the New York Mafia, its a good read. And thanks to Bobby for the link. http://www.deadmanwalking.net

Marcus Just sent me this link to The Ransom Note Factory. Im not sure if its silly or scary; but do have a look.
Also I’ve been laughing a lot at the great
Serving Suggestions that Biskitz4cheez has put on his website.
Actually, I don’t know that ‘he’ is a he; Im just assuming that because, as we all know, women don’t have a sense of humour.
