    welsh road sign cock-up

This is how road signs get made in Swansea: They email the English version to an interpreter, who emails back the translation which then gets printed onto the lovely shiny new sign. Simple yes?

Nope. The welsh part of the sign above reads: “I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated”

    pfffft.

Hi Keith, sorry to post in a comment but I couldn’t see another way of contacting you.
I’m a writer at the Sunday Times and we’re doing a piece on literal videos and I saw your U2 version and I was hoping it might be possible to speak to you sometime this evening or tomorrow morning or maybe fire off some e-mails just to ask you about how you came up with the idea, how hard it is to modify the videos etc.

      I’m on roger.waite@sunday-times.co.uk or 0207 782 5673
