I Feel So Good

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 28, 2008

Regular readers will know that I am a fan of UK comedy double act Goodie & Nick. I read in their blog recently that Goodie had a small part in Casualty & Nick had a similar role in ‘Wire in the blood’ with Robson Green.

I didn’t know, however, that Nick had a hobby of writing songs - Nice one dude, I quite like this!

Medical Adoptions

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 26, 2008

What a brilliant idea! There are many rich westerners who need organs but have love and support to give: And there are many poor eastern european orphans who need parental love and have organs to spare.

And that’s where the Medical Adoptions site comes inNatia_Budzianowski:

It’s a bit like a dating site, but instead of matching you to your ideal lover you get matched to a kid who needs adopting (with the guarantee that their tissue type will match yours)

The heart-rending orphan picture I have featured here is of Natia Budzianowski, 15, from Georgia.

Her profile says: “An orphan whose parents whereabouts have never been known, she spent six years working in the underage sex-trade, several more years in foster homes, and now needs a new home. She’s since discovered our Lord Jesus Christ, pledged a vow of chastity, and has been free of the sins of physical flesh for more than six-months, though suggests that this may be open to negotiation.”

How can you resist a story like that?

Baby Hero Sings Hey Jude

I reckon young Hero, singing in this video, is the reincarnation of John Lennon. What do you think?

Rock on, Hero, we love you!

Star Wars: Paraphrased

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 21, 2008

I’m nearly 40, so this has a particular resonance with me. You may be not nearly 40 but if you’re in any way a fan of the original Star Wars movie you should find this funny. If you don’t find it funny then god help you, and god help us all.

Puppy Vs Robot

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 21, 2008

Ha ha ha ha ha, very funny video which highlights the closing gap between organic and robotic lifeforms: It’s funny now, not so funny when in 10 years time they’re terminating our asses, heh heh.

Hamster Hats

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 20, 2008

pumpkinheadbeara <<Ahh, click the cute link

It is my firmly-held belief, as documented in many other articles here, that you can find anything on the internet: Yes, anything.

Including Hamster Hats. Why would you want to make a hat for a hamster? I don’t know. Is it funny? Oh yes. Does it make them any cuter? Well, I don’t think so, but Heather M Sullivan clearly does. And, before you start worrying about the little rodents’ wellbeing, Heather assures us that “My hamsters are very well cared for and are quite happy to pander to my daily cuteness needs. They are not left to wander around with the hats on unsupervised…”

What is Sweding? Star Wars: Sweded

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 15, 2008

Sweding is where you take something that you like, such as a movie, and remake it yourself using whatever comes to hand.

Above is a brilliant example (I especially like the x-wing fighter attack on the death star sequence)

The phrase “sweding” was invented by the writers of the upcoming film ‘Be Kind Rewind’ starring Jack Black & Mos Def, where a video store owner decides to remake classic films, after all of his tapes are wiped by magnetism, for the benefit of the store’s one regular customer. The length of time it takes for the movies to arrive is explained to the customer, a little old lady played by Mia Farrow, by the tapes having come from Sweden. Hence: When the 2 guys are making the films, they are ’sweding’ them.

Search on youtube for swede, you’ll find loads of great clips like the one above; and for more info on the film some google ads should have popped up over there on the left, heh heh.

update: Except they haven’t, heh heh

Uncyclopedia - Ian Cooper is a c**t

Posted by keithfisherking on Feb 7, 2008

Iancooper

I don’t know who Ian Cooper is, where he’s from or what he does, apart from the knowledge I’ve gleaned from something called uncyclopedia.org.

This appears to be a wiki site, along the lines of wikipedia, where anyone can contribute content; scandalous, libelous or otherwise scurrilous information about, well, anything at all it seems.

This means that you could pop along there and pour bile on any object of your disaffection. I suppose as long as they’re not famous no-one will argue.

Today’s Link is a very well written article about someone called Ian Cooper, and why he is a cunt.
