iss <<< Cleek for a peek

The International Space Station or ISS, or as its otherwise known The Human Space Flight or HSF, is constantly on the move, spinning and rotating above our heads like a benign metal satellite.

Click today’s link and you can see where it is right now. As an added bonus the graphic can even let you know whether or not its presently night-time where you are.

I know, its not mad, crazy or daft; But it is kind of cool. And also geekish - Woo-Hoo, a new category for a new year!

    questionswap << Clicko Picko

I first came across this site about a year ago and spent at least a couple of evenings thoroughly engrossed with it.

It’s premise is brilliantly simple  - You ask a question; Then answer a question. And the questions can be about anything. The best part is that all questions and answers are anonymous, so you can ask, or answer, however you see fit. I bet it would make a brilliant board game, if only someone less lazy than me could be bothered to work it out.

Oh! They’ve brought out a free e-book of some of the best Q & A’s too, which is another super reason to go and check it out.

I have often mentioned that you can find anything on the internet. Google-whacking is becoming obsolete as we have surely now reached a point of saturation where there is a website for EVERYTHING.

Today’s offering is a case in point. Click the picture above to go and see tamponcrafts.com, whose url says it all.

    xmaslightscam <<< Pikture clikture

This started out as a hoax a few years back but now its apparently really real -

A chap called Alek has festooned his home with 17,000 festive lights which you can turn on and off by visiting the website. You can also deflate or inflate the inflatables and display text of your own devising.

I’ll go and have a go when it comes back online. Very clever.

    kebab tetris << Clicko Picko

This is, quite simply, the best computer game that there has ever been or ever will be.

It’s fiendishly simple - All you have to do is aim your skewer at the different ingredients & spike ‘em. Once you’ve got three they disappear from your spike and you stab some more. When you clear a line of ingredients they all move down towards you. Forever. The accompanying music is also genius.

(I got 772 on my first go; Going back for another try now)
